1 kilo of beef
1 onion finely chopped
Half a cup of olive oil
3 cloves of garlic coarsely chopped
1 wine-glass white wine
1 kilo of ripe tomatoes grated
1 cinnamon stick,
5-6 cloves
2-3 bay leaves
Salt Pepper
Half a kilo of spaghetti No 5
1 cup of grated cheese
In a saucepan, bake a little onion with olive oil and then add the meat cut into medium-sized pieces, and place a piece of garlic on each piece of meat. Fry slowly on a low heat, stirring often. Add the wine and then the tomato, cinnamon, bay leaves, cloves, salt, pepper and 2 glasses of water and simmer the meat until cooked, adding enough water to make a sauce. In another saucepan, boil the pasta in salted water for about a quarter of an hour. Strain and rinse with cold water. Serve the pasta with the meat and sauce, and sprinkle with cheese.
